Our Practice in Moorpark

Dr. Kim (Pozza) Tedder grew up here in Moorpark and attended the Moorpark Unified School system with graduating from Moorpark High School in 1996. After attending San Diego State University and earning her Bachelor of Science she continued on to get her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2006.

Dr. Tedder and her husband Dr. Taylor Tedder live here in Moorpark raising their two daughters Emma and Ava. In Dr. Tedder’s free time you can catch her at the softball and soccer fields watching her daughters. She enjoys traveling with her family and always looking for recommendations to new restaurants and breweries to explore. 

Dr. Kristina Dea is a Bay Area native who decided to remain in Southern California after completing her higher education. She graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Shortly after, she earned her Doctor of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry. After training at various facilities, she developed a diverse set of interests in ocular disease, cataract and refractive surgery co-management, and paediatric care. She aims to provide comprehensive and compassionate care tailored for each of her patients.

In her spare time, she likes to explore different coffee shops and attempt to perfect her own cold brew recipe. She also enjoys being active outdoors.

Anakaren is the office manager at Advanced Family Vision and has been providing services to our amazing patients since 2020. She feels blessed to work with a great team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about the work they do. When she is not helping with any optical needs, you can find her cheering on the Los Angeles Kings and spending quality time with her loved ones. She looks forward to meeting you at your next visit.

Daena is an optician and front desk receptionist at Advanced Family Vision and has been part of the team since 2021.  She has enjoyed working for the office and having the opportunity to assist and bond with the Moorpark community. She has been able to help those that come from all around with their eye care needs has been one of the most rewarding experiences.

In her free time, she loves to read, cook, hangout with her friends, family and her pup Bella. If she is not in the office, you can find her at the gym, the bookstore, or at home cooking her favorite meals!
